Bret Boudousquie founded Stratus® Medical in December 2019, with the acquisition of Nimbus RF from Biomerics. Bret is responsible for leading the business to advance RF technology for the treatment of pain. Previously, as President of RadiaDyne, Bret led the transformation to a medical device and patient monitoring company with the launch of the award winning OARtrac® in vivo, radiation dose monitoring system for cancer treatment. RadiaDyne was acquired by AngioDynamics in September 2018.Prior to RadiaDyne, Bret’s career was focused on evolving minimally invasive surgical procedures primarily in orthopedics, spine and general surgery, first with JNJ and then with start-up companies, where he established a strong track record of success in sales, marketing, and sales management. Earlier in his career, Bret gained practical corporate finance experience as a Commercial Lender with Wachovia. Bret received his BS in Finance from University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Will Pankey joined Stratus Medical in December of 2019 as Director of Sales, US and is responsible for leading the sales strategy and execution for our US sales organization. Most recently, Will was a Regional Sales Manager with Medtronic where he built a great team that consistently delivered strong business results. Prior to Medtronic, Will’s 20+ years in medical device sales, marketing and leadership included time at large companies such as Boston Scientific and early stage developing companies such as Super Dimension and Advanced Medical Optics.
Will graduated from Tulane University with degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology and History. He completed his MBA at Louisiana State University with a concentration in Finance.

Lisa Pelletier, Vice President, Operations
Lisa Pelletier, Vice President, Operations
Lisa Pelletier joined Stratus Medical in March of 2020 and is responsible for leading the Operations and Accounting teams. Lisa also serves as the Regulatory Rep for the company overseeing the Quality Management System. Lisa joined Stratus with a wealth of Operations and Accounting experience, most recently with CBRE, a commercial real estate management company as Accounting Manager. Previous to that, Lisa served in various management positions with a fulfillment and printing company where she managed operations, HR, and accounting functions.
Lisa graduated from Boston University with a Finance degree and has previously held her real estate license in Massachusetts.

Jake Wakley is Vice President of Quality and Regulatory, and provides regulatory oversight and guidance for Stratus Medical. Jake also serves as Vice President, Quality and Regulatory for Biomerics and is Director of Regulatory and Quality for Med Venture Holdings LLC. Jake has over 17 years of experience in process and quality engineering, operations management, quality management, and regulatory compliance across multiple medical device companies. He has held key management positions at Compeq International, BD Medical, Edwards Lifesciences, and Biomerics.
Jake graduated from BYU with a BS in Chemical Engineering and earned a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Utah. He is an expert in various disciplines, including risk assessment, root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and FDA requirements, and has directly developed and managed multiple medical device quality management systems.

Dan Higgs serves as General Counsel and is primarily responsible for the Stratus Medicalintellectual property portfolio. Dan is also Chief IP Counsel for Biomerics and Med Venture Holdings. Dan practiced patent law with Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, LLP in Irvine, California, for two years and then with Stoel Rives LLP in Salt Lake City, Utah, for nine years. During that time, Dan’s practice focused primarily on medical devices, including preparation and prosecution of patent applications and other strategic development of patent estates, due diligence for patent portfolio acquisitions, and validity challenges to competitors’ patents for a variety of medical device companies.
Dan graduated from the University of Utah, summa cum laude, with a degree in applied physics, and received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Dan is admitted to practice in Utah and California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
